What Is A Type 8 NBN or Telstra Pit?

NBN Type 8 Pit
For NBN & Telstra these pits are basically the same with the only difference being the identity of the pit lid.
During NBN designs the main use of a Type 8 pit is to manage the connections between conduits. Another name for a Type 8 pit is a distribution pit or a local network pit.
As you can imaging there are several types of pits and the Type 8 Pit is the largest and can accommadate various conduit set ups. All of which is taken into account when a NBN design is being completed.
