NBN Fixed Line Agreement
As of July 2019, Telstra will not be entering commercial agreements for new nbn developments that fall within a NBN fixed line region, whether it be existing or part of the roll out.
Before Registering A New Development
Before you register your development you should check the status and availability of NBN in your area to see if your development is in a NBN fixed line area.
Comm Design will do this for you as part of the elidgibility checks prior to any applications are made or you can quite easily check your self on the NBN roll out map.
When Your Development Is Not In A NBN Fixed Line Area
If you determine that NBN will not be able to provide a NBN Fixed Line (FTTP) you need to register with Telstra. After the application has been made Telstra will make conact with you to discuss the options.
Who Can Register?
Only the developer or someone who has been authorised by the developer can complete the Application for Reticulation (AFR) Terms and Conditions of behalf of the Developer. Comm Design can act as your authorised person and sometimes written evidence that you are authorised to act on behalf of the Developer is requested.
Comm Design has a schedule of works that in corporates the quote for the application and design for the communication reticulation. It also includes the authorisation to act on behalf of the developer.
